Michael Tims
acoustic/electric guitarist & vocals
After leaving the thriving metropolis of Houston, Tx in the spring of 1992, Michael joined the Continental Singers, a traveling vocal group that toured throughout the United States, Canada, Singapore, and Malaysia.
In the fall of 1993, Michael toured with the University Singers from Southern Nazarene University. He stayed with them until the spring of 1996, when he graduated from the same school with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Performance.
In April of 1997, Mike joined Eternity, a vocal performance and worship group. On the road for about 300 days a year and performing close to 250 shows, Eternity played for such events as the Baptist General Convention of Texas and Hot Hearts in San Antonio, Tx (performing alongside such artists as Jami Smith and Reality Check). They have had some radio airplay and TV exposure, and have led many revivals, opening for Ken Freeman, Bill Gravell, and others.
Michael currently plays in the adult praise band on Sundays at Houston First Church of the Nazarene. He also plays in the youth praise band at the same church on Wednesday nights. Michael leads worship on Friday nights as well, for the youth group at Spring Branch Church of the Nazarene.
